“A year ago I had a bad crash and that got me off of my bike, I had been a cyclist for years, and had lost the confidence to get back on. However, working with Aaron has allowed me to increase my overall body strength My legs were already strong, but now I have more total body strength than before at 68 years old. Aaron’s warm spirit, knowledge of the body, and personal interest in you keeps me coming back to work out and I’ve been with him for years now.I have multiple injuries including a neck surgery and he is able to adapt the workout or any movement to accommodate handicaps or physical limitations. I have definitely seen a lot of improvement in strength, flexibility, and mobility. Aaron has made a difference in my life. I would totally recommend Aaron to a friend because I know he can make a difference in their life and be able to tailor a program to each individual”
“Over the years Aaron has been keeping me limber and more agile if you will. He is very professional and sensitive to client needs. He knows how to plug the right exercise at the right time and other trainers do not compare. Over the years you don’t want to bench press a lot of weight, and my focus has been on keeping the moving parts moving. I feel improved working with Aaron and I feel better when I go to him 3 times a week. Yes, I would recommend Aaron to a friend because I know my acquaintance would be in good hands with Aaron. He worked with my girlfriend for several years before she passed away and he kept her exercises equivalent to her failing health which helped her so much. He has worked out very well for me, Aaron’s been doing this for a long time and is well educated.”
“Aaron is an interesting balance. He isn’t too pushy and he isn’t too lenient either. He pushes people in a good way— not a harsh way. I like how he will tell us sometimes which muscles we are using and it helps us understand like, “oh exactly!”. He knows more than just a trainer, he understands kinesiology and that is really important. He’s also great at reading people, working with injuries and letting you know if you need to take things slower. He has been supportive and has helped me overcome mental blocks with challenging exercises and self-control with food, which helped me feel more confident in my movement ability and helped with weight loss! I have actually brought my sister with me to workouts because the way he works with people can kind of adjust things, everybody’s body is a little different and he tailors & personalizes to those needs. You never push yourself as much as with a trainer. I was initially concerned about training with a guy, but I have never felt uncomfortable around him with close contact or anything like that.”
“I started working with Aaron over 10 years ago and in that time we have become friends. I was initially looking to have a measure of health that wasn’t weight. I was looking to build measurable strength. In my time with Aaron I had actually managed to lose 200 lbs. I keep coming back to Aaron because it helps with accountability and helps me to have it on my schedule and do it regularly. I like him being in charge and giving me a good workout so I don’t have to think about it. He’s also really good at modifications, “Like move your toe” and you feel it way more! He’s magical that way. Each session with Aaron makes me feel proud like, ‘I did that sh*t!”
“I’ve been working with Aaron for 10 years. I had been doing martial arts with my daughter, but couldn’t continue doing that. I tried a few things to keep active, but Aaron is the one that stuck. He keeps me grounded-it’s a reset.I mean he’s just about perfect. He is always fun and thinks about his clients and what you need. It’s never easy, and you keep improving. You never get injured with Aaron. If I get a back injury or get hurt- Aaron is the first place I want to go. Aaron has helped me reach my strength and cardio goals and I credit Aaron for helping me get strong enough to get through my sick times. I have recommended Aaron to all of my friends and several have tried to work with him. Some of them are younger and fitter. His warm ups kick ass! You’re always measuring yourself against yourself and improving.”
“I have been working with Aaron for 8 years before moving away from the Bay area. With COVIID, I started working out with him again via Zoom- and plan to continue forever. I am a 69-year-old female looking to maintain my health and strength. I love working with Aaron. I have worked with other trainers, but he is simply the best! He excels at what he does.Aaron is knowledgeable about everything that pertains to exercise and the body. His workouts are always challenging and fresh. He keeps it interesting. He can modify an exercise in the moment as needed to meet the client’s needs. He is neither a drill sergeant nor a cheerleader – but an ever calm, upbeat, motivating and guiding presence. The common response after a session is “that was great!” One always feels a sense of accomplishment and of progress. When he groups people, he does it with a sense of who will work well together. He is so masterful at managing a group session that you feel like you are getting individual attention. As a person, he is intelligent, caring, self-effacing, likeable and interesting. He is an adventure athlete — engaging enthusiastically in extreme sports like rock climbing, Tough Mudder, and other obstacle challenges both in the US and internationally. I love hearing the stories. He is a devoted husband and dad.”
